What is Volume Profile?

Volume Profile is the most important complement tool for order flow trading and in terms of price reference, the best. The volume profile shows you volume traded on a specific price level.

Volume measures the success or failure of the auction and allows you to gauge interest. Analyzing where participants are accepting prices (High Volume Nodes) and where prices are rejected (Low Volume Nodes) will significantly help your trading process. Volume behavior is always superior.

How to Install a Chartbook in Sierra Chart:

1. Download and Save: Save your Chartbook file (.CHT) in the following directory: C:\SierraChart\Data.
2. Open Sierra Chart Platform: Launch the Sierra Chart platform and navigate to the File tab.
3. Access Chartbook: From the File menu, select 'Open Chartbook' and locate your saved Chartbook.CHT file.
4. Update Chart Contracts: Ensure all charts are updated to the current contract.

Important Notes:

• Time Zone Adjustment: The Chartbook is based on New York time (-5 EST/-4 EDT).
• Adjust your Global Settings accordingly: Go to Global Settings >> Time Zone Settings >> Choose New York (-5 EST/-4 EDT).
